STORAGE TIPS for optimal life span of adhesive
DRY (exposure to moisture begins solidifying/curing process.)
COOL (high temperature exposure changes the composition/viscoisity of adhesive. It will become thick, stringy and impossible to work with.)
DARK (Direct sunlight has the same effect as heat.)
STORE WITH SILICA BEADS OR RICE (prevent moisture/condesnastion buildup in adhesive bottle.)
STORE IN AIR TIGHT CONTAINER (keeps adhesive safe from moisture and oxygen.)
STORE BOTTLE UPRIGHT (consistency control.)
TIGHTEN CAP (air getting inside will cause oxidization which thicken adhesive, making it stringy. It will also cause cap to become stuck to bottle and opening it may become very difficult.)
If storing in a in room refrigerator, do not allow adhesive to reach room temperature and place back in refrigerator. This will cause moisture build up inside of your bottle. You can choose to keep in refrigerator until you are ready to open but be sure to let adhesive come to room temperature before use.
Store upright! Do not let your adhesive bottle sit on its side or upsdie down or you could end up with a securely glued together lid to bottle.
